hey I was wondering if anybody knew anything about the Toyota Tacoma model TRD (toyota Rescue Detachment) truck?? i saw one and it looks awesome. looks like it would be a great off road or firefighter's vechicle. if any one know where I can find out info about this truck please e-mail me at drew6553@yahoo.com

I thought TRD=Toyota Race Development. Are we on the same page here?

no this one said toyota rescue detachment on the side, it has 2 high jack points grille gaurd superhigh lift kit, 4 tow bolts, and super traction tires. oh yea and the tool box had built in lights . i might just leave a note on the winshield and have the owner e-mail me

Could it be a factory exclusive? Maybe a one-off prototype? Sounds like a rad looking rig!

1 off, probably not. sounds like someone made some mods to it, and custom built some badges
