Celica to Pick Up Coversion

Hi guys,

I was wondering if you guys can give me a heads up on what I need to change over from a 85 22re celica engine to fit my 90 pick up truck?

Since you're in CA, you'll need all the smog stuff that comes with the 90 Pick-up. I think the 85 has different exhaust ports than your 90 truck. That may be a problem with a savvy smog tech as the exhuast manifold is a little different. Pre 87 has round exhuast ports and post has sort of egg shaped ports. You might be able to use the 85 exhaust manifold and never have anyone notice, though.

yes you can ... most is going to be the same ..

things like electrical connections , exhaust are going to be different , but for the most part ... you will have no probs ... all bolt in .
