Battery problem!!

For the past few weeks I've been having difficulties starting my truck up. Whenever it does this I go the battery and I take off the positive and negative wires and I clean it a little and the car starts up fine. I've gone to checkers and I've asked them what battery size I should have in my truck and they say cc525 or 675. I have the cc525 battery in the engine, but it's giving me problems. Has any have this problem? Do any of you think I should purchase the bigger size battery? Would that help? Anny suggestions would be great. Thanks for your time.

it might be that your terminals aren't tight enough. but a bigger batt wouldn't hurt. i had a 880cc batt in my old honda and in my corolla it worked great.

If you are cleaning your terminals and then it starts, the battery size is fine. You just have bad battery cable connections. Hate to see you waste money on a new battery and still have the same problem. The money might be better spent on new battery cables, not to mention cheaper.
