Doing a major mod to my 92 runner engine. Cams,O/S valves,port polish heads,headers,exhaust,air intake and bored .50 oversized pistons. Anyone done any of this. Is it a big gain or a waste of money.

Maybe you can talk to nunsa at Yotatech. He seems pretty knowledgable on the 3VZ-E. It appears that he has done similar things like you stated on his rig.

There is also a thread going over at Yotatech for 3.0 rebuild utilizing Camry heads/pistons, 5VZ intake and headers - among other things. With using the 5VZ intake, you can add a TRD SC.

same for the 3vzfe??? Need to get ahold of a 5vz motor again to look at more options!
