5 spd transmission question

I have a '91 - 4wd - 4 cyl truck - w/ a 5 spd manual transmission.

206k miles, truck runs great and just keeps going and going...

Recently, it started poping out of 3rd and 4th gear under deceleration -

No problems with 1st , 2nd and 5th..

Just need some ideas on what would be causing this..

Unfortunately this probably means your tranny is on its way out. You can check the condition of your tranny mount and see if it is loose. There is one large nut in the center thet you can tighten and it may make your problem lessen. Jeff

The problem is solved - turned out to be Shift lever bushing...and shift lever seat - $22.00 in parts... had it replaced - works great..
