85 22R fuel filter location

Man, I can't find this little sucker. Is it a pain in the butt to change? Thanks

Look above the starter bolted to the motor? Thats where is is on mine. It is a pain to change. I just removed the starter and it was lots easier to remove and install.

On my '85 it was along the frame, on the passenger side, a bit benind the door as I remember.

The fuel filter is on the passenger side of the frame near the middle of the fuel tank. Look under the frame right at the fuel door. It's pretty easy to change. One hint , clamp off the hose leading to the fuel tank before you remove the filter so you don't get fuel everywhere.
