Timing chain installation
Hi Everyone,
I`m an amatuer when it comes to major work,but I thought I might be able to handle this.I`m reinstalling the timing kit(chain,sprockets,dampers,tensioner)on my 22RE.The chain included in the kit does not have "bright links"to align with the timing marks on the sprockets.Is there a "trick" to reinstalling the chain without these marking links. I`m having a hard time getting the cam sprocket to go on.Also how can I be sure that the old chain didn`t jump a tooth on the sprocket.I hope my questions make sense.
