darn 5x150 bolt pattern

Aloha to anyone that can give me some info. I own a 1999 Toyota Landcruiser and can't find custom wheels anywhere, i'm beggining to think that toyota changed their bolt pattern for a reason. If any of you own a 1999-present landcruiser and/or know of any custom wheels please let me know....much mahalos

Hi:

You may already have the answers you are looking for, but I just installed a set of Foose Spank 5 wheels with 285/60/18 tires. I can tell you, the ride is smoother, it handles bumps far better and above all looks so cool and distinctive. The diameter is the same as the stock 16 tire, but man, what a difference in ride and handling. It took me 4 years to do this, and I am kicking myself for waiting this long! The Foose are expensive - I bought them used on E bay in great shape.

Good luck

mahalo

Well, thanks for that info but I did find something and it took some serious searching. Finally I got some 17X8 fondmetal wheels which I found here http://www.discounttiredirect.com/di...150&vid=005501 and some nitto tires that gave me a beefy but low profile look that lets me still drive off road. I got the wheels at the same online store here http://www.discounttiredirect.com/di...d=005501&ar=65. This was the only wheel that I liked that fit this lug pattern and wasn't a spinner, and I love um. I could have went for 18's but I like the extra tire for living here in hawaii.....shoots-selecta

Wheels

Wow...those are cool wheels. What's amazing is that the Foose wheels I got are very similar! This type of wide spoke looks really good on an LC....one of the few aftermarket styles that does it justice.

I have the Sumitomo HTR Sport M+S on my truck, and you should look at those as a good hybrid tire for on road and off road duties - I think they would do really well in Hawaii. I was driving yesterday in pouring rain, and they grip really well in the wet.
