with my
2WD now on the road , drivable , ...but by no means done ... its time to tear into the 4WD ...
considering all the options ... at this time .... I think I'll just do a rebuild . Its a need thing .
removed the 22RE engine and started the rebuild
It was a due to a loss in fuel economy and power that made the decision for me ..
as it turns out , #2 cyl had a burnt valve
its all torn down and ready for the machine shop .

one surprise ... was that I just caught a timing guide failer which could have spelt , disaster , for this engine .
