TRYING TO HELP OUT MY DAD. HE HAS AN 86 4X4 TURBO. BOUGHT THE TRUCK 5 YRS. AGO W \BAD TURBO. HAD TURBO REPLACED AND COST HIM ABOUT A GRAND AT LOCAL SHOP. RECENTLY WENT THROUGH MOTOR BUT NOW THE TURBO IS GONE AGAIN. 110,000 MI. ON THIS TURBO. TRYING TO HELP HIM GET SOME INFO ON TURBO REPLACEMENT OR REPAIR OPTIONS. HE IS RETIRED AND LOVES HIS TRUCK (ESPECIALLY SPANKIN SOME YOUNG KIDS BUTT W\IT!) AND I'M LOOKIN FOR HELP. THANKS!

My 87 4runner turbo has coolant lines from the radiator (no $hit right?)...

I have seen two trucks that had the radiators replaced and they blocked of the cooling lines to the turbo because the radiator did not have them. Basically they put a non-turbo radiator on a turbo motor... that will kill them quick...
