Novice here, Needing Some Help

Hello all my names Alex. I just turned 14 two days ago and I bought myself what I belive to be a 1982 Toyota standard long bed. I'm not real sure if this is what it is called since I'm new to the whole mechanics scene. When i got it home come to find out that everyhting wasn't hooked up. I mean the 22r and the transmission were in but there wern't any like torque bolts in, the starters not bolted on and theres a bunch of hoses that I have no idea what to do with. I need help on this because i want to put it all back otgether myself. Can anyone helpe an00bie out with nay advice or sites that could show me what to do?

Alex, you have taken on a big job. The various Toyota websites are an excellent source of information. A shop manual will show you where everything goes. However, it sounds to me like you should take whatever auto mechanics courses your school offers and find a mentor to show you some of the tricks. A mentor would also be a handy source of tools. Good luck.

^werd that.
you're gonna want someone who knows what they are doing to help you. Too much stuff to miss if you've never spent time under a vehicle before. Get a factory manual if you can, much better than Chiltons or Haynes.
