Question Throttle Position Sensor

I have an '87 22 RE that has had a Throttle Position Sensor warni g code come in twice in a row. Both times it has happened after about 20 - 25 mile of highway driving.

My Haynes truck manual I bought is of no help.

All it says is:
"If the Throttle Position Sensor is suspected of being at fault, have the various components checked by a Toyota service technician or repair facilily."

Why did I buy this manual?

I have the factory service manual I bought for my '87 Camry when it was new. It tells how to check the throttle body on the Camry. The two throttle bodies look identical.

Think they should test out the same?
