22R Engine problems

I gots an 89 2wd 22R motor equip with 32/36 carb, headers, and exhaust... my problem is that as soon as the truck is hot or ran for 15-20mins, the truck sounds as if its gonna die out, if I step on the gas it starts to bog or maybe misfire and then backfires a little... also the RPM tends to drop all the way down to zero, The timing is set at 5 degress.. I'am running MSD wires on my stock coil, I check the resistance on the coil & it is fine.. the cap and rotor is good also because I change them during the summer..I did a compression check also and the results were to specs... what else can I do to solve this problem, seems like the coil is going or myabe the ignitor or maybe the distributor.. I'am running out of time and I need to get this thing fix right away...I put in new NGK plugs also and still it had the problem... maybe a MSD blaster coil 2 and MSD 6AL box will do the trick... any toyota experts out there can do the honors and help me thanks...When the truck is cool, it runs great, as soon as it reaches engine temparature it starts to jerk back and forth as if its gonna die on me...

could be a vaccum leak ... I would take some "cold start" and do a little spraying arount the vaccum lines and carb base , and intake and such ... if you notice a idle change when spraying .. you'll have found your leak .

Maybe

It might be a vapor lock problem. The only suggestion for that that I have is to put a spacer between the carb and manifold. Does the engine compartment get very hot when this problem occurs? If so, you may want to try this fic.
