drop control arms vs drop spindles

I'm trying to decide which to get to lower my turbo pickup.

I've heard drop spindles is "better" than drop control arms.

Anyone have suggestions?

Anyone know of a source for used spindles? We have an '85. We're on a tight budget. Found some on Craigslist, but they won't ship. They can be ugly, as long as they're solid structurally. Thanks for any help.
