I need to know were the hoses for the the solenoid on the vavle cover closest to the front go. I just put a head gasket in and have a sucking sound from the front solenoid and the check engine comes on.

thanks

That solenoid is for increasing rev when a/c is running. The hose farthest front goes to the top hose connection on the vac diaphram mounted to the middle of the intake body. The other hose goes to the same diaphram but to the hose connection closest to the intake body. There are 2 other hose connections to this diaphram, 1 to the throttle body and the other goes near the distributor.
That is how my '86, 22re is setup.

The only downside to a lot of these diagrams is that some of the pictures are either not showing the whole system or the picture is un-specific (low detail). Like with my 92 T100 with a 22RE, the image does not show the vaccume going to the power brake booster.
