22re turbo rebuild?

Are there any rebuilds for the 22re turbos that came stock on them? how hard would it be to adapt a naturally aspirated 22re to a stock 22re turbo setup? thanks for the help

i think the 22ret block had different holes drilled than the 22re block because of the different oil needs for the turbo. also i think the head might be a little different There are turbo kits for the 22re though. i think i saw them at www.lcengineering.com

i have a 22r-te turbo motor in my truck i recently just adapted a t3/t4 hybrid on it......the diffrence in blocks from a 22re to a 22r-te is the the turbo block has a oil line feed and a return port machined in the block. the heads are diffrent too.............. turbo head has bigger combustion ports for lower compression, other then that they are the same.........you can use a 22re head on turbo block or viceversus.
