Any info on fitting a header with a body lift, 2002 Taco?

The manufacturers I have spoken with so far (Downey, NWOR) have either said NO!, a header will not fit with a body lift on my 2002 TRD 4X4 Taco, or we'll let you know.

I would like someone with experience in installing a header into a late model Taco with a body lift (mine is up 2") to shed some light on the issue of steering shaft clearance, etc.

An exhaust header is a very practical mod, and I don't want to do without it if I don't have to.

Well, if the BL is something restricting the header to making it down by the CAT then an exhaust shop should be abel to make a custom fit pipe to extend from the bottom of the header down to meet with the cat. I guess since you said header you have the four banger. I have the 2.7L and my local exhaust shop said they'd be able to fix any problem encountered with a BL.
