85 toyota pickup 4WD fuel filter location. Where is it.
I am a new member and am in need of help. I have a 1985 toyota pickup 4WD. I do not know if it is important, but it is an extended cab. The engine is a 22R Carbuerated. I am trying to locate the fuel filter. I went to the parts store and they showed a filter and sold me one. I followed the fuel lines and even looked under and around the intake manifold. I have not located it yet. there are fuel lines running above the fuel tank. The problem so far is that I cannot see above the fuel tank. Is it possible that the fuel filter is above the tank. It seems silly to locate a filter there, but I suppose toyota may have found a way to do something like that.
