PleASE HELP
Hey i have a 1989 toyota pickup reg cab with a 22RE motor. I wanted to know if a oil pump from a 1983 pickup with the 22R motor in it will fit? i bought a brand new oil pump for the 83 but never put it on.And i would also like to know is there any engine mods i can do to gain easy H/p like the deck plate mod?Thanks alot

No the 83 oil pump will not fit as there were two types of oil pumps for the 22R series of Toyota engines one for the 1981-84 & one for the 1985-95:
