Loud Squealing

My roomate has a 93 t-100 and when you start it up it squeals very loudly. It goes away as it warms up, but sometimes it still squeaks (but not as loud) when you downshift into 2nd or first. It does need a new clutch soon, but that won't be happening till spring (no garage, and its damn cold outside) Is there any specific thing that this could be, anyway to fix it easily?

Oh btw it has 200k miles on it, the clutch has almost 100k on it.

I had similar on my 4Runner. I changed the power steering fluid and added some power steering conditioner and it went away... Could be slipping belt(s) too.
