Check engine light and overheating? can anyone tell me whats going on?

i noticed that my 97 LandCrusier had been leaking some liquid and then i was driving home and the heater stop working. then proceeded to over heat. i think the thermostat went out, but i'm not sure. is there anyone here that knows whats wrong with my landcrusier? Could i have blown my head gasket? I also think my oil pan gasket is blown too. i guess i need to get that fixed also. there is an oil retun line that is on top of the vavle that leaks a little bit too, but i dont think that would cut the engine light on. i have 167,000 miles on the motor. Does anyone know whats goin on?????? Someone Please help if you have any idea of whats happening to my baby.

Only 2 things are clear fr your description; it's overheating and the MIL is lit.
I recommend the ff for your "baby":
-check coolant level
-don't drive it if it's overheating
-have it towed to a repair shop
-have them check cooling system operation
-have them pressurize the cooling system to find where it's leaking
-slap a scanner on the DLC and pull the code(s)
-call you with their findings and repair recommendations before authorizing any work.
