I,ve got a '98 Tacoma Prerunner and need to tow a RV trailer that weighs 3300# dry. I'm concerned that this is close to the weight limit and when I hooked it up once the rear end dropped too far. Can I beef up the rear suspension to increase the tounge weight capasity?

You might try a weight distribution hitch first. It will reduce tongue weight, with different size weight bars available (500, 750, 1000... you would probably try 500, maybe 750) Don't rush out and by one ($300-500), if possible borrow one and see if it helps. If not, ask around. You can also try putting all your gear in the rear of the trailer to reduce tongue weight, but don't go crazy... too little tongue weight and you'll be jackknifed in the ditch.
