toyota truck snowstorm story..defroster?

hi, im very proud of my toyota truck today..i live in southern indiana and we got 25 inches of snow in my location. i was out of town and came back in this storm to pick up my truck seein that i left it bout 50 feet from the road and was in bout 24 inches of snow i drove it all the way to the road no problem..and all i got are 31s wild countrys knobbies and it kicked ass all the way thru it.. it was -10 deg and i had to drive it 40 miles back with the whisheild prob being -20 and driving 55 mph the defrost was kicking out some hot heat an s very warm in the cab but witht the winsheild factor and the cold air and the speed i never seen anything like this before the cab was hot but the defroster couldnt even knock the frost off the wisheild had a little spot too look out of till i slowed down to bout 35 then it would defrost.. i never senn anything like this b4...crazy the drivers side and passenger side door was totally iced unless i slowed down to 35 have any of you had that happend im thinking everyones elses vehicle in this conditoin had to be doin the same thing...doesnt make sense except that the outside air was so cold it was impossible to defrost at 55mph oh ya by the way a brand new chevy 04 silverado 4x4 couldnt even get out of what i did and i did it with a breeze...it was fun

Moisture.., my truck does it to. It takes a day or two of regular driving to cook it out of the cab. Sometimes the defroster intake sucks in snow, the only way to clear it faster is to keep the air on recirculate.., and keep your window cracked a bit.

In Maine we get that all the time, high moisture then cold air. I use the heat cranked to max and vent speed to max and keep the AC ON. The AC dries the air out and defrosts the windows
