regular burned cds that are written as 74 or 80 minute audio cds should work. discs full of MP3s aren't going to work.

They should, but make sure the songs are in .wav format first.

most cd writing programs like nero can deal with either mp3 or wav format files when they burn a CD. again, make sure you are writing a "cd-audio format" disc otherwise you will just write a disc full of .wav files and it just like mp3s won't play in your cd player.
