Cool Are '92 model body parts same on 2WD/4WD?

have a '92 4WD xcab crashed in front. I'm looking for parts now, so I need to know if the front clip and body parts on the 2WD are the same as the 4WD. What should I expect to pay for a front clip etc. from a salvage yard?

well, im not postive about the whole clip, but the front valance and bumper are different between the 2 and 4 WD. Im not sure, but the whole clip may be different beacuse of extra room that might be needed for the front axle and transfer case on a 4wd. JMO

A friend of mine replaced a 2wd clip with a 4wd one. He told me that the 4wd fenders had slightly larger/wider openings. I know that the grill and valance are different. I believe everything is completely interchangeable though. Although there are differences, they are only cosmetic and everything will bolt up the same.

Thanks for the information but I finally figured out that the grille, fenders, and some other things are different. I'm looking for the front parts for a 4wd so I dont want to use 2wd parts. If anyone has any info on where I could get them, please let me know.

Several years ago I replaced the bumper and a fender on my Daughter's '87. New aftermarket parts were available at not unreasonable prices. It was about 6-7 years old then. Maybe they are available for yours.
