Rear Lift Shackles

I am considering installing rear lift shackles on my 93 pickup to even out the back of my truck. It has begun to sag over time and I would like to bring it back to stock height or maybe a little higher.

Who has done this? How difficult was the install?

I know Daystar Industries is probably where I would get them from, as they seem to make quality parts and have a good reputation. Do I want greasable or non-greasable? And what results can I expect from them as far as ride, performance, etc.

The best way to restore or increase ride height is by reworking the springs. You can have the original ones re-arched or buy new. The extended shackles are kind of a band-aid approach IMO. Even with some sort of different shackles you still have the same crap springs.

Shackles will de-arch your springs even more. As suggested, have them re-arched or just get new replacement ones to save you the headache of getting them replaced again in the near future.

Just save the money you would spend on the shackles for springs and let stay sagged for a bit more...Doing it right the first time is always cheaper.

i put a 3" helper spring in the rear of my 4runner and it worked really good, was only $40, and was fairly easy to install. Ebay about $40
