22re wont idle

I have a 1988 Toyota 4x4, with a 22re engine. I had a couple leaks and some messes up hoses so i took off the upper manifold. Well while i had it off i decide to clean it up, took off the throttle body, TPS and cleaned the mani and TB. Well anyways i put it back together today, and the damn thing wont idle, as soon as i start it it revs to like 1500 or 2000 then just dies, but if i give it gas i can get it to stay stared for a minute or so but its at a very high rpm when i do that. Anybody have any idea why it would do that?

Double check your vacuum hoses leading to the throttle body, also physically re-adjust the TPS position so that both of it's screws match the yellow paint at the base holes and recheck your engine base timing to make sure that it's at 5 degrees BTDC with timing connector shorted.
