identifying toyota engines 20r, 21r, 22r

Anyone out there know how to identify 20r, 22r, and 21r p'u engines?

I have several Chinooks which are being restored. Most have 20r engines. But one, in a 75 Chinook, has no decal on the engine, and no model number on the plate below the alternator -- only a serial number there.

The engine is also the only one which has the oil dipstick on the RIGHT side of the engine as you face it...the others have the dipstick on the left side, below the carb.

Any idea what model that might be? 21r? 22r? or some kind of left-handed 20r?

Thanks,

Chinooks

Thanks, Sydney. A Chinook is a small, complete pop-up camper on a Toyota P/u. Only made them 74 - 78. I am restoring some.
