my 05 tundra is having issues with the cold, -50F , the door would not open, the key would not turn but with some lock de-ice i finally got it open, now it only shuts half way, any help?

I seriously hope your joking when you ask "why" it wouldn't open a t -50 degrees F......

Would you want to open at that temp.? LOLOLOL

I have an 05' DBLCAB and I have not had any problems here in the snow in Maine except with the windows freezing shut after some day melting from the snow. Do you have keyless entry? Using your keyfob would eliminate the need to use the key. Also, use an amorall wipe on the rubber seals around the door, it keeps them clean and helps them to repel moisture, etc.

You may want to get the spec on the lubrication they use on the door guide and hinge so you can properly lube it if it isn't already done.
