I have read the sam ethings as well as being liable if you get into an accident, whether it may have been your fault or not.
There are so many things that go into pulling a trailer safely besides just GVW's and tongue weight. I have a 4400 lbs. UVW 29' trailer that I pulled with our 2001 Tahoe that had a 7100 lbs towable weight rating. My new Tacoma is rated such that it would be able to tow my trailer. There is no way I would consider towing it. I know from experience it is to big.
Take a look at

There is alot of good towing info on this site.
