Truck Magazines

Sup dudes. I just wanted everybody's intake on some of best truck magazines out there since I'm interested in subscribing to at least 2. I'm looking for some off-road info, aftermarket parts info, and new and future car info. Thanks.

Can't think of any others off the top of my head but if you do, get it off ebay, way cheaper than getting it from the magazine.

I like FOURWHEELER the best for off road info. I have looked at the others and they just don't seem to match up to Fourwheeler's technical info. I hope that helps.

I haven't bought any for a long time.
I think they are more advertisement than substance. Even the tech articles sound like a brochure for products anymore. Guess they have to keep the advertisers happy to make money. You'll find more useful information online for free.

I'm also annoyed by some of the weekend car TV shows that are seeming more and more like infomercials lately (yeah, I watch them anyway). On some of them, 80% of the show is dedicated to showing you crap to buy instead of informing you about anything or showing interesting project vehicles in any real depth.

Oh...while I'm ranting....I especially hate the ones that go to car shows and pan the camera by the car fast at strange angles to make it seem exciting instead of giving you a decent look at the car or the craftsmanship that went into it. This seems to be the thing with "tuner" shows. Zooming in and out fast should be reserved for people playing with camcorders for the first time.
