performance ignition 22re and compatibility

i have a 94 truck with the stock coil pack , i want to use the coil/ignitor from the engine i bought that has the larger round type is this compatible with the ecu? i have the ignitor ,coil and distributor from the 90 engine and the harness are the same i just worry that it wont like the computer or the computer will cook. any insight guys? i may just try it to see if it works but i dont want to fry anything. the ecu from the 90 is different and has 3 plugs for the harness while th eone i am using that came in the 94 originaly has 2 plugs and had to be used to be compatible with the dash cluster harness, so i cant use the computer out of the 90. the reason being is i hate the stupid little 5mm wires that i have on it and want to upgrade to a hotter ignition coil like the accell or msd box and 8.5mm wires

i found wires for my setup by accel but as for coil pacs for the 94 what are my options?
