87 was lasy tear for wing vent glass right ?

ive been looking for pass side pickup vent glass forever for my 87 and cant find a damn thing anywhere, everything in the yards is 88-up one piece glass

The 84-88 p/u and 84-89 4runner have the same window. They are a hard part to come by. The local yard sells them for $16 when they have them. Some of the 89-94 p/u did come with the vent window, but thet will not work on your truck.

why or how only some ?
neighbor has an 88 4 runner, and we just junked an 89 pu, both were one piece glass doors, cant recall ever seeing an 88-up any other way

The vent window was an option, not all yotas came with them. I was told awhile ago the the vents were a dealer installed option, I do not know if that is true. As for the 88-up a friend has a 90 that has the vents another has a 91 with the same, they do exist. I would do a search of junk yards and call around.

I have an extra glass for the passenger side vent window. I replaced both vent windows and frames due to rusted lower rails. When I finally found them (on ebay) they came with the glass also. The drivers side glass broke during shipment.
If you just need the glass and not the frame with it, PM with some contact info and it is yours.
