need bolt size

I have a 92 22re and the bolt on the alternator fell out yesterday. can anyone please tell me what size it is? I have to make it to work tomorrow. fine thread?special thread? how long? all of the salvages are closed today so i was wonderin if i could find the right size at home depot. thanks a lot

is it the pivot bolt or the pinch bolt that adjustments are made with?

probably an 8x150 or 125 diameter and thread, measure the length

just to get by, you can put a 1/4 inch drive socket extension in it and wrap a rubber band around each end to keep it from falling out, or any metal shaft or smaller bolt with a nut that will go past the ends until you get the right bolt, the length is probably about 50-60mm, maybe 40mm, if you cant get one tomorrow, ill size mine and see what you need
