Efi Blown Fuse

Hey guys. I have a 92 pick-up with a 4 cylinder 5 speed, that stalled on me the last week. I noticed that the EFI fuse was blown. I replaced the fuse and the truck started and drove about 500 ft. I had problems with surging idle at start-up in cold weather so I took a stab at replacing the throttle position sensor. The problem I have now is that as soon as I replace the fuse and turn the ignition on, the fuse blows. The fuse blows with the new sensor unpluged or connected. Any ideas would be helpful. The truck has about 160,000 miles on it without any other problems.
