Power question

I have a question on my 93' 3.0 4x4 truck. I just put a centerforce clutch in my truck yesterday. wow what a difference. Anyway I saw a thread a while back about cleaning something on the intake to give you some of your stock power back. I just can't remember what it was or how you would do it. I may need to check my injectors too. The truck has 35" tires on it and it has 165k miles too. Does anybody have any more power tips for me. I already took off the stock pipe from the airbox to the grill and added a k&n filter. I appreciate the info.

i think you're talkin about the ports going from the plenum to the cyl head, it builds up with a black gew. Rip er off and clean with varsol then rinse with water, allow to dry and install
hope thats what you was thinkin about

Another words, the throttle body. Run some injector cleaner every tank for 5-6 tanks. Don't forget to clean the MAF sensor.

if you wanna spend some money on some real power, i would sugest the trd supercharger. there pricey around $3000. k&n filters are great, that should add some power..

Get you a couple cans/bottles of SeaFoam and start your engine up and let idle. Find you a piece of rubber hose the same size as the PVC valve hose, then disconnect PVC valve hose at plenium and slip the rubber hose over the metal tube on the plenium and slowly let it suck in about a half of the can/bottle of SeaFoam then shut engine down and let it sit for awhile. Hook PVC valve back up add rest of the Seafom to the fuel tank and fire it up again and go for a little test run were you can wind up a few RPMS and see if that don't help. It also wouldn't hurt to pull the throttle body off and with sensor safe injector cleaner or protect the TPS from it, use a toothbrush and injector cleaner to clean the throttle body, spraying the cleaner through every vacuum port and the by-pass idle vent hole!! You can plug the coolant hose with a bolt and not have to drain coolant!!

thanks for the help. The throttle body cleaner sounds like the ticket.
