I am wanting a 95 - 04 6'' Toyota Tacoma Suspension Lift 2wd or 4 wd automatic
I found some suspension lifts on the internet BUT, i look in the product details ( what it contains) and i never see 6'' Leaf Springs ? I want a Suspension lift because of the quality, expensive except worth it. Now i have links to what i found, http://www.jackit.com/toyota/tacoma_pickup.htm check out the 6'' lift and http://performancelifts.com/cgi-bin/...TS4130-6K.html check out the 6'' suspension lift.
I looked on Customtacos.com at the Guide to lifting Tacomas, http://www.customtacos.com/tech/inde...v2&id=137&c=10 i looked at all of them and came accross the Full Leaf Pack , is that what im talking about? needing some help.

Not sure what you are asking but typically in a high quality suspension lift you are going to have to do the rear seperatly. From companies like Camburg, Total Chaos and H&M they will sell the front suspension. For the rear to add a new pack look at National Spring or Deaver. My advice would be to read through post on http://www.dezertrangers.com
Before my new '05 Taco I had a '03 Ranger with a Camburg frontend on it and Deaver Prerunner pack in the rear. For something like that that is done right your looking at about $2200.
There are alot of guys with Toyotas on they and they can answer any questions you might have.

Because you may want to set up the rear different ways depending on how you plan to use the truck. A good quality lift is meant to be used off road, not just to raise the vehicle. When I built my Ranger I wanted to be able to use it pretty hard in the desert. After I finished the front end I built the rear end so they would work together well for what I intended to due with the truck.
does anyone have any opinions on raising a prerunner about 3 inches. i often hear that lifting a truck is mainly for offroading but how about lifting a 2wd since it doesnt have as much offroad capability. and if i lift a 2wd does it give me more capability? i own a 05 tacoma accesscab prerunner, v6 with trd offroadpackage with tow

You can go with spacers (Toytech or Cornfed) or coilovers such as Sway-A-Ways, Kings or Donohoes, but with 3" you might need a diff drop because it will cause stress on your CV boots/joint. As for more capability it depends what you want to do with the 3". You'll probably need to raise the rear to even it out by getting new leaf packs or shackles.
how much does it cost to lift about 3 inches and can i just keep my stock rims and add bigger tires to replace the stock ones. i dont know what leaf packs or shackles are, but does that basically mean im replacing my entire suspension?
are you asking about the price of a 3" body lift, of susp. lift? I think the body lifts run about a few hundred dollars after all said and done. Not evactly sure though. I like how my truck looks with the 3" body lift it has on it. I have aftermarket ICW 15" alloy rims. Im sure you can keep the same size rim, but you'll probably just hafta get a wider side walled tire. Maybe like 33"s or 35"s . my truck has 31x10.50"s on it (put on by last owner), but if it was up to me, id have gone with at least 33's and wider,- maybe 12.50's. IF you decide to go wider than stock, you may need to get wider rims for the beads to match up. JMO

so i can just take my truck to a shop, have them raise it up 3 inches for only a few hundred bucks? what about shocks, springs, coils, dont i need to replace anything to keep the ride as smooth as right now? and if i just get the 3 inch body lift how do they do it...

Sure, then throw in a transfer case and front diff....

Take a look here, this shoould answer most of your questions.
a body lift is best described as 3" spacers that go between the body and the frame. It really does not look like a hard job. the hardest part would be cab part with mounts and all. A body lift does not change anything with the suspension, so yes, you wont need to do anything to that. If you want better ground clearance, then a susp. lift is the only way, (plus bigger tires). If you just want to get bigger tires,-- that would rub on stock bodies, then a body lift is a good choice. its all in what you're looking for.
