HELP! Anyone here have unlimited carfax or history search??

I'm looking at buying a 91 4runner with an indicated 78,000 miles. I suspect this is wrong even though the owner says it is correct. There is just too much wear on this vehicle.
Can anyone here do a milage search on this 4runner??
The vin is
JT3VN39WXM0056229

THANKS IN ADVANCE!

You are correct. I'm getting ready to buy a truck and have unlimited Carfax reports.

Good catch on that one guys! Potential screw job there. 78,000 would seem awful low for a vehicle thats 13-14 yrs old. My 88 hardly ever gets driven other than for fun and drag racing and it has 220,000+ on it and that's with the last 3 yrs seeing less than 5000 miles per yr on it.

You ought to ask the owner how long he has owned it and it may have gotten rolled back before they bought it, he may have been lied too also. If he owned in that time frame then shame on him.

Thanks for catching that rollback for me; the 4runner sure had a lot of wear for only 78,000.
My gut instinct told me not to buy it; but this confirms it!
The current owner has only had it for about a year; so they don't know anything about the rollback. They swear it has only 78,000 miles. I'm going to tell them so they can maybe sue the dealer that sold it to them.
Dang; you gotta watch it out there. If something doesn't seem right about a deal; then it probably isn't right.

How does this unlimited carfax history work? I am dumb to this idea, and have never heard of it. Sounds very neat.

You basically pay a flat fee for 30 days worth of access. I think it was $25 or something like that. It's not much if you're getting ready to buy a car. I ran about 40 carfax's or so, and my 30 days are almost up. I bought a truck Saturday, though, so I don't need it anymore, but it was worth it.

Thanks for the help and the report. Always good to confirm what you are told by the owner. Sweet car too.
