rear speakers

i recently bought a new sub "rockford fosgate" and amp, i want to install it in my 2001 tacoma ext cab, but im wanting to use the factory head unit. So i bought a RCA converter and it uses the existing speaker wires to make the thing work. well the big deal is that i cannot get to the rear speaker because there are not any screws are anything to take off to get to the speaker. i need some help. if anyone could help me it would be great, thanks.

you probably have to do one of two things:
1. pry the speaker cover off with a small flathead screwdriver (there should be a small indent on the cover to stick the screwdriver in) if you want to avoid scratching the plastic cover the tip of the screwdriver with masking tape.
2. remove the entire door cover (which just means finding all the screws and prying off)

if anyone trys to get to there rear speakers in a 2001 taco, it is a lot of work. i had to take off the whole panel, seatbelts, brackets for the seat belts, and to top it all off i had to put it all back together. It was hard but i got to the rear speaker to splice the wire to run an rca converter so that i can have bass off of my factory head unit. so if anyone needs to know a tip on doing it let me know
