Quick question about 2001-2004 auto trannies

Gents--

Is there supposed to be a PRNDL indicator on the instrument panel right between the tach and speedo? If so, I got a little electrical problem. I see a small rectangular outline, but nothing lights up. Just got the truck Saturday, so I can't remember if I saw it there or not. Kinda feel like I didn't but just want to make sure. Haven't gotten a chance to really look at that in the light.

BTW, haven't gotten the K&N kit yet, even though they said it would be 2-3 days from order date. Ordered it through SPDC2000.com, only paid $230 with shipping versus $250-ish before shipping from other sites, so I guess I shouldn't bitch too loudly. I called the company and they said K&N's shipping department was "really backed up". Sounds like a load.

I've noticed what you're talking about, I had an 04. But sadly I'm pretty sure there was never one there.

Didn't have it on my '99 as well. BTW, make sure you don't over oil the K&N or that MAF will get f'd up!

No light like that on the dash....you may be looking at the high beam indicator box.
