Need some help 86 toyota 22r wont start - Toyota Nation Forum : Toyota Car and Truck Forums

I have a 86 toyota truck 4x4 22r engine I have replaced the following parts wires, plugs, coil pickup, coil pack, ignition pack, and i can get it to turn over but there is no fire to the plugs can anyone help at all im about to pull my hair out with this thing

Bad wires maybe? Check to see if the wire are also seated correctly.

Maybe distributor cap or rotor

the wires that reach from the distributor to the fenderwell had a break once on me, check that. Also check that you get a pulse from the distributor. by the way, the rotor IS turning yes?

I changed the distributor cap and the rotor is turning. I checked most of the wiring are there any other things I might be able to check please thanks
