86 4x4 22R with 90k miles $$$??

I am looking at a 1986 toyota tacoma, regular cab, long box, 4x4, with the 22r engine, carb'd (obviously).....it has 90k miles, new head gasket, and timing belt just done....it runs very good and is mechanically very stable, has a bit of rust and the box is rusted...but nothing i am really worried about i am just using the truck to move my bike around to differnt tracks....What do you guys figure this truck is worth?? thanks!!

the blackbook price is like $1300 it seems to me. But take a look at the frame between the gastank and the frame!!! that is normally where the frame starts to rot. i got my frame boxed for $600 at a garage.

Hi,

Just some friendly advise. Your toyota is considered a "pickup." Tacomas came out in 1995. Also, the 22r (and re) have a timing chain, not a timing belt 90k is VERY!! low milage for a 19 year old pickup. Don't pass up that deal!!

Just bought a 1987 just like yours with 86,000 miles and a 22re for 200 bucks. Had to fix the frame and a few other little things. Great truck.
