Rear main seal and clutch on 94 DX

Hello all,
I just took a leap and bought a 4 cyl '94 4x4 toyota pickup dx. it is in beautiful shape and only had 114,000 on it and was offered at 3300 because it had a few problems that needed to be worked out. the main issue was the head gasket, for which i ordered a kit on ebay for less than 100 along with a timing chain kit also for less than 100. my brother in law (who lives 2 hours away and has the truck now) also suggested that he could change the clutch (slips a little - std. transmission) and rear main seal (very small leak). i am having more trouble finding these parts because i don't know exactly what to search for (he is the mechanically inclined one, not me). the big problem is finding the clutch for the 4x4, and also knowing what the rear seal that i need is. any thoughts or suggestions? am i better off just going to a parts store chain like autozone or a&a for these parts?
