What year Tacoma do you have? I did it w/ my 1988 Toyota P/U and it looked really good. I totalled the truck last year but I still have the black nerf bars (the light/roll bar) if you are interested--I know it will have no problem going it to a Tacoma up to model year 2004. I live in Northern VA. Here is a picture of it on my old truck.
