USA torsion bars 87

can i just crank up the torsion bars on my 87 to get bout 2 more inches or do I have to get aftermarket ones?? I am gona get add a leafs for the back and that will give me 2 back there but was wonderin bout the front

you can get 2" out of them but the ride will be very stiff and may create more headaches. only way to get a lift without the stiff ride is with a suspention lift. My 88 has a 4" lift wich allowed me to actually drop the torsion bars a bit wich helped with the ride.

so what kinda price are we looking at for a 2-4inch suspension lift for our IFS stuff? if been seeing around 800 to a grand and dont want to put out that kinda scratch. thanks!
