Does anyone want subforums for the Truck Forum?

Basically, do you guys feel that it would be beneficial to yourselves to have seperate subforums within the Toyota Truck Forum?

Example... we could rename Toyota Truck Forum to Toyota Off-Road Forum, then add specific subforums such as:

Toyota SUV Forum
Toyota Truck Forum

Or does anyone feel that there is a dominant model that deserves it's own forum?

Thanks for all your feedback!

This forum is already dominated by Tacoma's and Pick-ups (Pre-1995.5 model year Toyota trucks). I think Tundra's, Tacoma's and Toyota Pickups should all be included in the same forum. A seperate forum for SUV's might be helpful...I notice that a lot of their questions don't get answered. Just my $.02

I agree with 2TACOMAS. Pre 95.5 and post 95.5 would be a great idea. I am only interested in the older models that you can actually work on. Lately we've been over-run with 2005's.

Well here's my two bits..Buying a NEW truck isnt on my agenda, but i did find the paint problems and other issues that are being experienced are things that i feel we should be aware of.When would you split the forum?Tacoma on up...(95& newer?)I get better input from the beaters than the waxers,so I don't really like that idea, and I think the beaters get alot of swap ideas from the new rigs, such as factory lockers and 3.4 swaps. The more I think about it, I like the forum how it is..all the tacos, ravs and tundras on the same page Go toyota nation

I like keeping them together
I could see an off road, stocker and low rider split
I think the issues around how you use the truck is more relevant than what truck you have

Thanks for the input guys. I think we'll keep things the way they are unless there is a big demand for it.

Split em

Definitely separate the truck section.................. New Tacoma's need a separate section... New owners or perspective owners are not really intersted in concerns of the older Tacoma owners.. They have their own issues and the new owners have totally different concerns. I would recommend having a section on the different model and years...................... The new Tacoma model has a lot of issues that I know bores ones who have older models........... and visa versa........................ With all the apparent problems with the new mode(of which I am one) there is enough posts to warrant a separate section............ Either way, this Forum is the best one I have seen.............. and it is free................ that is indeed a prize...............Thanks to those who have been kind enough to formulate and have online...................Cooch

I think it should stay as one,I personally am interested in new Toyota issues for future reference and the older model info to help me now,and 4Runners mechanically are not much different than a truck-and it's not like the forum is jammed up all the timewith excessive posting

I think we should have a seperate forum for off-road vehicles.

New to this forum, but would like to see an 05 and newer (future) forum as these are the first year products with probably different problems than the older platforms.

I feel there should be separate forums for trucks, 4Runners, Ravs, and all the other different models or one for trucks and one for SUV's and one for off-road.

I like the idea of engine specific forums. The 22R/RE, for example, was used in a lot of different vehicles and it would seem a lot easier to track down solutions to problems with the motor with one forum for it.
