Horn not beeping when I lock/unlock the doors

I just picked up my 05 Tacoma and I noticed that when I lock and unlock the doors the lights flash but the horn doesn't beep. It beeps if I hit the panic but not when locking or unlocking. I like that feature when i'm walking away from a car and locking it. Is there an easy way to turn this feature back on?

I don't think it's supposed to. Mine never has beeped the horn when unlocking the doors. If I lock them twice using the remote I think it does give a short beep.

mine beeps twice when i unlock and once when i lock

I called my dealer and they said they no longer have the "chirper" that used to make noise. Oh well.

if you want the beep on your tacoma then go and buy a piezo buzzer from radio shack heres a link that they talk about it in So you say you want a "beep?"
