My transfer case is working properly, but my dash light is not coming on in my 89 4WD Truck. What controls this? Is there a fuse specific to this operation? Any help would be appreciated. I just bought this truck, I also have one hub that will not engage, I am hoping it was just not installed properly when they turned the rotors, I will have to wait until next weekend to tear in to it now. Yes, the light still comes on in the dash without the hub engaged in my '90 so I am sure this one will as well, just not sure why it isn't. Any suggestions on the not turning locking hub would be appreciated as well.

Dan, Hey buddy if your 4wd is engaging then I would assume its the indicator bulb in the instrument cluster. Yank the cluster out and swap a bulb from say your oil pressure or check engine as a test bulb. If it works then hop on down to the parts store and get a new bulb. As for the hub I would take it out and inspect the innerds LoL. I have yet to play with a hub but I would check to make sure the spring is still in one piece and seals and such are there. might want to do a separate thread for the hub to get more attention. on my 90 4runner, with ADD, the sliding sleeve will make contact with a switch in the front diff. this is the final link in the 4wd indicator light, according to my FSM...
