Better Cup Holders for '00 Taco?

So, I bought my '00 Tacoma SR5 V6 X-Cab 4x4 about a year ago and have put about 24k of my own miles on it. It didn't take me long to really appreciate the truck (was without a truck for almost two years), or to spill a cup of coffee when I kissed the brakes to slow up for a toll booth.

My question is this: what have people done to put cupholders in the console that will actually support a cup and keep it from ending up on the floor?

I have never seen a good one. The best thing is to get one of the cheap ones like hang on the windows and screw it to the side of console on to dash. The orginal ones are a joke. A hole to hole little things
