22re oil pressure
Does anyone know the resistance that an oil pressure sender should have at idle and at 3000rpm?
I just did a cluster swap (changed the switch to a sender) and cannot get the oil pressure to read. If I short the wire the guage will read high (full deflection). I get no deflection with the sender hooked up.
Read resistance at cluster:
Engine off = open
Engine idle = 120 ohms
Engine 3000rpm = 80 ohms
Manual shows 4.3 psi (min) at idle and 36-71 psi at 3000rpm. I don't have a guage handy to check actual psi pressure, so was wondering if anyone knew or could check what resistance the sender should read.
